Back to school
Lower School students returned to school to meet their new teachers and make new friends. A kindergarten student reported, "My first day was great, but I can't wait for lunch!"
Memorial service for Pamela Hurtt
Elizabeth Hurtt '69 is holding a memorial service for her mother, Pamela Hurtt, a former Lower School library assistant and the wife of former faculty member Harry Hurtt (ASL 1957-85), to be held at ASL on Saturday, 27 September at 2:30 pm. A formal service conducted by the family will be followed by a reception, which Harry and Elizabeth hope everyone will stay for. Given the wonderful food, drink and hospitality that Pamela and Harry extended to so many people over the years, please bring a plate of your favorite finger food to share. ASL wins Eddie Hufford Award three years running
ASL earned the Eddie Hufford Award once again. Awarded to the ISST school that reflects the highest standard of excellence in sports, schools score points based on their 12 best finishes at ISST tournaments.
